Daniel Álvarez

Daniel Álvarez is a lawyer and technology specialist with over 23 years of experience. He holds a Doctorate in Law, a Master’s degree in Public Law, and a Bachelor’s degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the University of Chile. He led the last two processes of drafting and approval of the National Cybersecurity Policy and the State of Chile Cyberdefense Policy.

The National Cybersecurity Coordination is a unit within the Ministry of the Interior whose purpose is to coordinate the actions of public agencies in cybersecurity matters.
