Carola Moreno

Coordinator of Finance and International Affairs at the Ministry of Finance of Chile

She holds a PhD in Economics from Boston University and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Chile.
She worked at Banco Central de Chile as head of the External Financial Risk Monitoring Group, Advisor to the Financial Policy Division Manager and head of the International Relations Unit (interim).

In the period 2017-2020 she was the representative of Chile in the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), in the Southern Cone Chair.

Previously, she worked as an academic, led the center for economic studies at UDD, was a deputy member of the committee for setting exchange rates, and senior advisor in the research management of BBVA.
