Máximo Pacheco Matte

Chairman of the Board of Codelco

He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Chile. He was the first Vice President of Operations at Codelco after the return to democracy, serving in this role from 1990 to 1994; Minister of Energy from 2014 to 2016; and a board member of Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN) from 2018 to 2019.

In the private sector, he served as Executive Vice President for Latin America at Carter Holt Harvey and Senior Vice President at International Paper, where he held the positions of President for Latin America and later President for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Russia.
