James P. Scriven

James Scriven, a dual Argentine and British citizen, previously served as Vice President of Corporate Risk and Sustainability at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where he held various leadership positions.

Mr. Scriven holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of the Center for Macroeconomic Studies of Argentina and a degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Argentina. He is currently the CEO of IDB Invest, the private sector institution of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group. IDB Invest is a multilateral development bank focused on serving its clients and achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in Latin America and the Caribbean.
